Alexandra Daddario is an American actress from New York, (born March 16, 1986). She is set portray the demigod daughter of Athena.Her parents are lawyers; her father Richard C. Daddario, was a federal prosecutor in New York City for 13 years, befor being named head of NYC Police department's anti-terrorism units in 2010. She wanted to be an actress when she was a child but her first television role did not come about until she was 16 years old, when she booked a single episode on the role of victimized teen Lauria Lewis on All My Children. At the same time she was sophomore attending a traditional girls school in New York.
Alexandra Daddario being cast as one of the leading roles as Annabeth Chase in 2010 movie Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief was announced in early summer 2009.
